Thanks for visiting!
As a disclaimer, this site is not 100% complete yet. The to-do list is in the About
page. I'll be working on it as I find the time.
Anyway, I'm Dan. I'm a Software Engineer out of
Michigan Technological University. I work at a corporation called The Benham
Companies in Walled Lake, MI. Benham is an
SAIC company. SAIC does super secret government stuff for the NSA, DOD,
NASA, and DHS. I like to think that SAIC is to the government what Q is to James
Bond. Benham also makes industrial automation and management software. I have spent
most of my time lately developing applications in the Visual Studio and SQL Management
Studio environments.
At MTU, I gained a pretty diverse skill set by coding in Java, C, C++, Lisp/Scheme,
C#, and SQL in various Linux development environments. I was privileged to have
accepted a co-op position during my junior year at Stora-Enso in Wisconsin Rapids,
WI. At Stora-Enso (now NewPage),
I worked primarily with JSP/Java and SQL.
When I came back to MTU, I took a part-time position at a local web development
company, Sandstone Digital, where
I worked on web content management systems with the LAMP solution stack.
Please take a look at my resume for a more detailed outline of my experience.
